I like Michelle’s style of taking pictures.  We asked her to work for our surf school, bed and breakfast and also when I was pregnant.  I have a specific idea of what I think is a beautiful picture.  Michelle suits that idea.  It’s very comfortable for me working with her, because I know I like the result.  We did some shoots on the beach.  She knew about the tides and when the sun was best for the light.

It’s so rare in this day and age for someone to be as thorough as you were.  I was amazed that you spent a whole day shooting a 2 bed apartment but when you get the results you can see why you are such a perfectionist and that how well that extra effort and dressing of the rooms really pays off.

Michelle photographed us when our surf school was in its infancy, and those early images really helped shape our brand. Michelle totally nailed it. Back when our surf school was still pretty new, she joined us as we travelled down the coast each week—from Porto to the Algarve—capturing every part of the journey in video and surf and life style shots in images. She shot not just the surfing, but the campsite, the drives, the dinners… Her timing was perfect, both in and out of the water, and the videos and photos became a huge part of the experience. Friday night viewings turned into a season highlight, giving our guests something unique.
